SpecterOps raises $75 million series B round

SpecterOps, a provider of identity security solutions, just closed a $75 million series B round led by Insight Partners. The round brings SpecterOps’ total funding to around $100 million.

SpecterOps is the creator of Bloodhound, an Apache-licensed cybersecurity tool for Microsoft-based environments. Bloodhound secures systems by identifying attack paths in Azure, Active Directory, and Entra environments and eliminating those attack paths.

SpecterOps monetizes Bloodhound by offering a paid enterprise edition that includes additional features and continuous monitoring and remediation capabilities.

Sabir is an attorney, entrepreneur, and expert on COSS. In his roles as corporate counsel at Amazon and Roku and associate at Greenberg Traurig, he advised nearly all of the Big Five technology companies on complex open source matters. Currently, he is founder and managing attorney of OptimEdge Legal, where he advises technology clients of all sizes on matters related to open source and other technology law issues.
