DataHub Raises $35 Million Series B Round

DataHub, which provides an open source platform for managing metadata that gives context to AI training data, announced that it raised $35 million in a series B round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

DataHub offers its core platform under the Apache License. Its paid SaaS offering includes additional features like SOC II compliance, role-based and attribute-based access controls, and an in-VPC Remote Execution Agent to run tasks that communicate with sensitive data sources.

Sabir is an attorney, entrepreneur, and expert on COSS. In his roles as corporate counsel at Amazon and Roku and associate at Greenberg Traurig, he advised nearly all of the Big Five technology companies on complex open source matters. Currently, he is founder and managing attorney of OptimEdge Legal, where he advises technology clients of all sizes on matters related to open source and other technology law issues.
